Timeout facilitator additional training

In the additional training for Timeout facilitators you will learn about facilitating on a deeper level. The training is planned according to the participants’ needs. It contains facilitating challenging situations as well as an understanding of how to reach good dialogue. You will also learn how to bring the discussion to a deeper level and how to move onward constructively from conflict situations. You will understand how you can affect the success of the discussion in the planning and inviting stages and how to ensure the impact of the discussion.

For whom?

The training is meant for people or organisations that have implemented Timeout discussions and want to gain more understanding. All participants should have completed the Timeout facilitator training or have experience with facilitating Timeout discussions.

The contents and schedule of the training

The training consists of two days of contact teaching as well as becoming familiar with the Timeout model and conducting dialogue experiments outside the contact teaching days. In addition to the contact teaching days, you should reserve time for experiments between training days.

Price

The price of the training is 500 euros (+ VAT 24%). The price includes the contact teaching days as well as the materials shared to participants and the instructions for working between the contact teaching days as well as morning and afternoon coffee on the teaching days.

Trainers

Olli-Pekka Ahtiainen is an experienced professional in dialogical facilitation and training. He is an experienced trainer and implementer with the Timeout model. He has broad expertise in teaching dialogue, developing work communities and organisations, as well as leadership.

Janne Kareinen is a professional in facilitating dialogue who has been responsible for building the Timeout model at Sitra. He has broad expertise with mentoring different organisations to adopt the Timeout model.
